Decomposition characteristics of ADC

The decomposition foaming properties of ADCs are affected by many factors, such as processing temperature, activator or inhibitor, particle size, and other additives used.

The breakdown rate of the ADC depends on temperature. Under isothermal conditions, ADC decomposition has an obvious induction period, and increasing the processing temperature will accelerate ADC decomposition. With the increase of temperature of ADC products of the same specification, the time taken to decompose completely will be greatly shortened, and the amount of gas generated will be slightly increased.

　　When dynamic foaming methods such as injection molding or extrusion are used, the effect of the particle size of ADC blowing agent on its foaming characteristics is less than that of static foaming.

4. Empty packaging containers containing ADC residues shall not contain other chemicals, and the residues shall be disposed of according to the corresponding regulations.

5. Smoke will appear when the ADC is decomposed in abnormal use, and a large amount of water should be sprayed immediately to cool it to prevent its decomposition reaction.
